Autumn Gold – English National Opera

In the Autumn Term, the children in Foxes, Otters and Squirrels took part in a special music project called "Finish This" run by the English National Opera. 

We watched a video clip of a composer creating a piece of music called "Blue, Red and Yellow".  We explored those colours and then each class chose their own new colour.  After that, we experimented with the sounds we could make, linked to our chosen colour.  The sounds were made with our voices, instruments, sensory resources and in the outdoor area.

The composition from Squirrels class was selected to be turned into an animation.

We are so proud of all the provision children and the pieces that they created.
