Year 6 are one third of the way through our final year at school and what an adventure it has been. We have already visited Kingswood, Dell Farm and had fun in the forest.
In class this term, we will be reading Kensuke's Kingdom as our class story and doing work based on this book too. We will be focusing on algebra, geometry and measure in numeracy; there will be regular number card testing so please help your children practise at home. It is also vital that you listen to your children read on a regular basis, at least once per week. I believe that good readers make good writers.
With not long to go till the SATs and the end of the year, it's vitally important that your child is in school and on time every day.
