Welcome to Maroon class!
Welcome back everyone! Hope you have all had a fantastic summer and are ready for the Autumn term!
Our P.E days will be every Monday and Tuesday. Plimsolls will be required for indoor use and trainers for outdoor activities. Children will do gymnastic lessons in bare feet. Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing; this can be in the form of plain black tracksuit bottoms with elasticated legs, plain black or red shorts and a plain white or red t-shirt. No jewellery is to be worn.
Please ensure your child brings their reading record, reading book, number card, water bottle and coat to school with them every day. If the weather is warm children will be allowed to leave their coats on their pegs but as you know the British weather is very unpredictable!
Hello and welcome to Parrot Class!
We hope to have a great year together working really hard and having lots of fun!
Our P.E days are on Monday and Thursday. All children must bring in the correct p.e kit which should be clearly named. No earrings must be worn on P.E days.
Please also note all children must bring in their book bags, reading books , number cars, water bottles and a waterproof coat to school EVERYDAY.
It is imprtant to read regularly at home so that your child can obtain house points. Please all so practise your childs number bonds with them so that they can be tested in school.
Please do not hesitate to contact either of us if you have any questions or queries. We look forward to working alongside you all to support the children in the best way we can.

Welcome to Magenta Class’ activities of the spring term so far.
We started the term by writing Arthurian stories in our literacy based on the BBC programme Merlin.
At the end of January we had a very energetic week doing our Bikeablilty. Luckily for us, the weather stayed mainly dry, although we did need lots of layers to stay warm!
Now that we are back in the classroom all day, we have begun our new project of designing and making phone socks. The first part of our learning journey was threading our needles and tying a knot in the thread so it stayed in the felt!
We have learnt two types of stitches so far and spent an afternoon practising our technique.
